"Introduction to the OMS" Training Course

Understand the role and fundamentals of an Order Management System. This training is designed for professionals working in supply chain, e-commerce, or IT who wish to understand the role of an Order Management System (OMS), its uses, its interactions with a company’s IT ecosystem, and the operational challenges associated with order orchestration.

By the end of the training, participants will have a working understanding of the key concepts of an OMS, its main use cases (orchestration, allocation, customer promises, tracking), as well as a clear understanding of how it integrates with other systems (ERP, WMS, e-commerce platform, PIM, CRM).

Throughout the training, participants will analyze concrete scenarios drawn from real-world projects and work on practical exercises that allow them to immediately apply the concepts presented.

  • Duration: 3.5 hours, in-person or hybrid format

  • Introduction & Business Context
  • History of OMS and the Evolution of Omnichannel Needs
  • Key Capabilities of an OMS
  • The IT environment (WMS, ERP, e-commerce, PIM, CRM, etc.)
  • Functional architecture & integration flows
  • Example of order orchestration
  • Best practices for integration and key success factors

Personalized support
